Description:
Ku Rgyamtsho conducts the Dedicating the house and Securing luck rituals. The Dedicating the house ritual dedicates the door, the four corners of the hearth room (the ritual heart of the house), and the Zambhala (god of wealth). The Securing luck ritual 'binds' or secures the luck of the family, animals in the pen and crops on the field, preventing luck from departing.
This man had learned all the rituals as the assistant of a priest@ who since passed away. While priests rely on the scriptures which they read during rituals@ helpers should know the rituals by heart and rely on their memory@ since they are expected to hand the priest the correct paraphernalia at the correct times and conduct appropriate movements accompanying the rituals. Thus@ this helper could recite rituals from memory.
